Star Wars. My husband and I both think this. It was a hard choice however, since there are so many great movies in that list.

There are many great movies on this list, and many more that should be on the list, but the only one I waited in line around the block for was
Star Wars.

I dislike sitting through movies with a passion. On this list, I've only seen 4.... I 'slept' through Star Wars and The Godfather. Jaws was OK, but my fav. would have to be Forest Gump.

There is no way I could sleep through "The Godfather" with all of that shooting. lol

I got bored with GOODFELLAS which is a movie you said you liked. It was 2.5 hours. The Godfather is 2 hours and 55 minutes, which isn't much longer.
I thought all of the actors in THE GODFATHER were brilliant and that's why it's a great movie. Nothing boring about the movie at all. To each his own. 
I think most of the guys will vote for STAR WARS.

I voted for Jaws.
I love The Godfather and Shindler's List (and Goodfellas)
But I recently watched Jaws with my youngest granddaughter
who had never seen it before.
She loved it!
And her comments reminded me of all the reasons
I loved it when I first saw it.

THE DEPARTED is a great movie. It might be one that many have not seen, but Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson IMO were the stand-outs. Leo played a great undercover cop with an eastern accent and Jack was TOTALLY SLEAZY. lol Foxy, |
