I have a pretty extensive record collection including my Mom's 78 records featuring some fabulous black artists from back in the day. Sadly, many of these wonderful entertainers didn't get the respect they deserved and were made to enter the venues they were appearing at through the service entrance, particularly in the deep south. One Las Vegas hotel actually drained and disinfected their swimming pool because guests complained after seeing Sammy Davis Jr. use it.
I would like to pay tribute to some of these amazing people who contributed to the soundtrack of so many people's lives and whose work stands the test of time. Feel free to contribute to this thread.

Betty Everett was so good, we actually have this song on the previous page, but its so good I listened to the whole thing again! I loved the Temptations too Dazzal. Some of the best music of my generation came from Motown. IMHO, today's kids don't know what good music is!!! Great additions to this thread.

Yes, there are repeat Youtubes, but it never hurts anything to listen again. People that haven't been through the actors/actresses or movie threads have repeated Youtubes, too.
